The College website (see References) carries this brief biography: 'College Notes: Came up in 1940 to study History but did not graduate. Military Service: Lieutenant 1st Battalion Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders. Killed 7 May 1944 in the fighting around the Naga Village during the Battle of Kohima.'
