The College website (see References) carries this brief biography: 'College Notes: Came up in 1935 to study History. BA 1938. Military Service: Captain Royal Artillery. Included in Remembrance Book but not a war casualty. Wounded in 1943, but survived the war and died in London on 9 November 1948.' The College Archivist confirmed in October 2023 that he was included in the Book by mistake.
