The College website adds: 'He came up in 1914 from Westminster School. His brother, R.E.C.Gordon, came up to Pembroke in 1907. He was the son of a widowed father and is buried at Boursies Cem., Hermies; and is also commemorated with his brother in Highgate Cemetery. [Brother died in 1920 perhaps from war service in Gordon Highlanders]'.
