He had two other brothers who came up to Pembroke , including Maurice who is also listed on this memorial: there were 8 brothers in total. Was appointed District Commissioner in Kenya, North Kavirondo, 12.5.1918 [Official Gazette, 22.5.1918] and reportedly died at Mumias 28.7.1919'.
