The College website adds: 'He came up in 1906 from Harrow and was the elder brother of John Eric [also commemorated here]. Killed in Snow’s disastrous attack in which 28 officers of the Queen’s WR died. His body was not recovered from NML. Commemorated at the Thiepval Memorial.'
