Despite the apparent entry on the memorial, both CFHS and Roll of Honour do not think he served in the RAF but in the RFA. CWGC does not show anyone of this name dying whilst serving in the RFC/RAF but confirm the RFA casualty details. Perhaps a mistake by the engraver?
