Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. He worked in the family business and was a member of the Conservative Association and Ellan Cricket Club. He died of Nephritis and is also commemorated on IWM 69611 and 2599. A Memorial Service was held for him at St Mary's Church on 23 February 1901.
