The Roll lists his address as Dogsthorpe Road. [It misrecords his surname as Wade, his date of death as 14th April 1917, and omits his regimental number; his surname is known to have actually been Wade, he died on 4th April 1917 at No2 Australian Stationary Hospital in Egypt, and his regimental number was 250778].
(N.B. The Roll is known to include numerous errors, including: misspelt names and inaccurate date/place of death, service number/ rank/ military unit etc; several casualties were mistakenly listed on it twice [i.e. under their true name and also the alias under which they served]; several other men were listed on it due to the mistaken belief they had died, whereas they had actually survived).
