The Roll lists his address as 27 Taverner's Road. [CWGC are unaware of his gravesite, so currently record him as being commemorated in the UK Book of Remembrance. As he is known to actually be buried in Block 1, Grave 477 in the 3rd Division of Broadway Cemetery, and that his grave currently has no headstone, CWGC have been informed accordingly].
(N.B. The Roll is known to include numerous errors, including: misspelt names and inaccurate date/place of death, service number/ rank/ military unit etc; several casualties were mistakenly listed on it twice [i.e. under their true name and also the alias under which they served]; several other men were listed on it due to the mistaken belief they had died, whereas they had actually survived).
