This man was mistakenly listed on the Roll twice. This entry for him on the Roll, under the surname Archer, lists his address as 4 Woodland Terrace, Wood Street. Whilst he served under the alias 'Christopher Archer', his legal surname was Biggs, under which he is also listed on the Roll.
(N.B. The Roll is known to include numerous errors, including: misspelt names and inaccurate date/place of death, rank and military unit etc; several casualties were mistakenly listed on it twice [i.e. under their true name and also the alias under which they served]; several other men were listed on it due to the mistaken belief they had died, whereas they had actually survived).
