Hornshaw and Fowler provide all the extra details. The brother of William, also commemorated on this memorial, he was a joiner and wheelwright who lived with his brother at Little London Farm. He enlisted in March 1916 and was killed by shellfire whilst carrying the wounded. A Memorial service was held for him on 13th January 1918.
