The CWGC state he was the son of Peter and Rose Ann Moran, of Halifax, Yorkshire; husband of Edith Annie Moran, of Halifax. Hornshaw and Fowler (see References) add that he had 2 children and was a Territorial before the war and that he is also listed on IWM 2689.
