According to Angus and Rosemary's Miscellany of Malvern (see References): 'Son of mining engineer Thomas Huntington of Norwich, Connecticut, USA. Educated Eton; joined the Ceylon Contingent Aug 1914, then Kings Royal Rifle Corps. Also served at Gallipoli and in Egypt. Died at the Somme 24th August 1916 aged 32 years.'
