According to Angus and Rosemary's Miscellany of Malvern (see References): 'Gerald was the only son of Rev Arthur Gosset Bibby; educated Wells House and Oundle. 16 Sqn Royal Flying Corps (RFC), died 3rd March 1917, aged 19 years, when his aircraft was shot down by the Red Baron.'
