Entered College in Michaelmas Term, 1911. A member of the University Contingent of the Officers’ Training Corps. 2nd History, 1914; B.A., 1915. Commenced service in September 1914. Captain of the 12th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, attached to the Royal Flying Corps. Served in France. Killed in aerial action on September 15 1916. CWGC provide his Squadron and burial place.
