The memorial did not include forenames or initials; those commemorated on it were identified only by their Police rank/collar number and surname. For those decorated, the date they received the award was stated. "The Metropolitan Police At War" book (published 1947) listed that L Division's A.G. Parsons received the George Medal; London Gazette 15/11/1940, Supplement 34994, Page 6610 published the award to War Reserve Constable Albert George Parsons.
