Memorial states 2nd Eng. Jones served on HMS Pamela and died on 10 October 1944, however Commonwealth War Graves states he served on SS Pamela (Beaumaris) and died on 11 October 1944. Lloyd's Register of Shipping records an SS Pamela as being lost on 10 October 1944 so the vessel was most likely SS Pamela and not HMS Pamela.
