1st Battalion Scots Guards. Murdered by an IRA Sniper on Duncairn Avenue, New Lodge, Belfast. IRA gunmen took over a Catholic house keeping the residents hostage and waited for a patrol to pass by. He was shot in the back on his third tour of duty.
