Notes
The Memorial indicates that he formerly worked in the Corporation's Farm Department. It also states that he was killed in action, which is incorrect.
CWGC records that Driver John Thomas Glover of the Royal Artillery and Tank Corps' Depot R.F.A., regimental number 211324, died on 23/11/1918 aged 32. He was the son of John and Martha Glover of Little Gidding, and the husband of the late Hilda Glover. He was buried in his wife's grave in the south-east part of Little Gidding (St John) Churchyard in Huntingdonshire, which infers that he died of wounds after repatriation to the UK, rather than having been killed in action (as the Corporation War Memorial stated).
