Died in a road traffic accident. Husband of Sylvia Wyse, son of Charles Frederick and Frances Elizabeth Chesterman. He is buried in the Islip churchyard as he was was overseeing a large, underground fuel storage dump near his home as well as serving as his battalion's education officer. Also served in WW1 with the same regiment.
