Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. He is also commemorated on IWM 2747 and 2603 and his biographical, service and death details as they found them are shown on the latter. He had returned to service with the MGC in October 1915 after being called up and then wounded when serving as a Territorial with the King's in May 1915, hence the mistake on this memorial over his regiment.
