Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. He was living in Newbury, Berkshire having left Todmorden where he worked for a cabinet maker and in a local store. He enlisted in May 1939, is also commemorated on IWM 2224 and is buried at an RAF station somewhere in Southern England.
