How would you describe the memorial and its ornamentation?
Stained glass window by Sep Waugh of York, of three lights, 4 feet high x 4 feet 4 inches wide, the scene of which runs across all three lights. There is a knight in armour with long sword, his wings draped over the two outer lights. On either side there are poppies. Above his head is a cartouche with the name “St. Michael”. Another cartouche underneath his feet says simply “In memoriam. 1939-1945”.
