Memorial Details
What type of memorial is it?
How would you describe the memorial and its ornamentation?
Five-light arched stained glass window, with three oval tracery lights and fourteen triangular panes.

The three lights at centre depict the figure of Christ mounted on a horse with two horses either side and warriors of the army of Heaven behind. Above Christ is an angel proffering the Crown of Glory with the letters IHS within a vine-filled cross. The badges of the Navy and Army are to each side of the angel. The three lights are surmounted by white Roses of York multi-foils.

The two ulterior lights depict, to the left, St Nicholas holding a ship, and to the right, St George slaying the dragon. The Saints are surmounted by their symbolic badges. A rainbow stretches across all five lights.
