THE PAINTED GLASS IN THESE WINDOWS WAS BROUGHT FROM ITALY BY A NATIVE OF GRESFORD NAMED/ TUDOR AND GIVEN TO THE CHURCH SOME TIME IN THE 18TH CENTURY BUT WAS AFTERWARDS REMOVED/ IT IS PLACED HERE BY PERCY AND DAISY ROOPER FOR THE BEAUTIFYING OF GOD'S HOUSE AND IN/ DEAR MEMORY OF THEIR SONS WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR
