Memorial Details
What type of memorial is it?
How would you describe the memorial and its ornamentation?
A three light stained glass window with a quatrefoil above. The quatrefoil carries a depiction of the symbol of the Presbyterian Church - the Burning Bush (Exodus). The centre window depicts Christ with a young child. The outer windows depict Saints connected with the Mission of The Gospel - the Apostle St Andrew on the left, and the Celtic Missionary St Columba on the right. Above St Andrew is what may be the crest of Lt. Steel's School - Fettes, Edinburgh, and above St Columba is the badge of the Royal Army Service Corps. The inscription is written across the bottom of the windows.
