How would you describe the memorial and its ornamentation?
Stained glass window showing (right to left) St Michael, Christ Crucified, Christ the King, and St Christopher. Underneath these are smaller images of St Michael fighting the devil, Jacob and Isaac, Christ outside his tomb, and an angel appearing to St Christopher.
On the four lower sections are St George (with a sword), St Andrew on his saltire, St Patrick and St David holding croziers, and smaller images of a ruined church in Rheims, a pyramid and the Sphinx of Egypt, archaeological ruins in Mesopotamia, and a ship in Gallipoli.
The saints and foreign scenes each have a scroll identifying them.
Dates and inscription on the tablets (which are near the main entrance to the church and not St Andrews Chapel) are incised in red, and names are in black.
Reason for status change (if applicable/optional)
Added image of tablet and 6 WW2 names. JF 19/7/2021
