Chester Cathedral Cloisters - Two Sons Window

Inscription at the bottom of the fourth light of the four-light, stained glass window with figure in each light. Figures of St Augustine, St Aidan, St Giles and the Virgin Mary are depicted in each light. Under the Virgin Mary 'Sept 8th' (date of her nativity). No names recorded, and no apparent connection with the other three dedications.
In the 1920s the 34 windows around the Cathedral Cloisters were glazed in stained glass with images depicting the Church’s Calendar. Of the 130 lights about a quarter are WW1 Memorials.
