How would you describe the memorial and its ornamentation?
Inscription in a diamond-shaped pane in the second light of a four-light, stained glass window with figures in each light. The four lights depict, from the left, St Monica, The Ascension, Pentecost and St Dunstan.
In the 1920s the 34 windows around the Cathedral Cloisters were glazed in stained glass with images depicting the Church’s Calendar. Of the 130 lights about a quarter are WW1 Memorials.
Captain H Frost is also commemorated on an oak chair in the Regimental Chapel in the Cathedral (WMR 105455).
As the inscription commemorates a man who died in WW2 it is probable that the inscription panel has been reworked.
